This equipment used in this test amplifies late potential signal​s that are occasionally given off by the heart.

Late potentials can be expressed by patients who are at risk of developing heart rhythm disturbances.

When making your test appointment you must tell our staff ​all medications you are taking since some medications may affect the results of your tests.

Make sure to wear a two-piece outfit on the day of the test.

Prior to commencing the test, you will be asked to undress from the waist up, women are supplied with a gown to wear.​

All you need to do is rest while the test is carried out.

You should restart all of your usual medications after the test.

Our doctor will report the test results to your doctor.  You should make an appointment to see your doctor to discuss the results.
